Noble Corporation secures work from PTTEP offshore Australia

Offshore driller Noble Corporation has secured a short-term contract from Thai oil and gas company PTTEP for the provision of its jackup drilling rig Noble Tom Prosser offshore Australia.

The contract is expected to commence in early September and end in late October. The day rate of the contract is $130,000.

The 2014-built rig has been warm stacked since October 2016 after it received an early contract termination from Australian oil company Quadrant Energy.
