Noble Corporation semi-submersible contract extended by Hess

Offshore driller Noble Corporation says that Hess has extended its contract for 1981-built semi-submersible rig Noble Paul Romano, currently operating in the US Gulf of Mexico.

The rig was originally on contract from October 2017 through to early April 2018, however has now been extended through to mid June 2018. The rig is contracted at a rate of $115,000 per day.

Noble Corporation has four semi-submersible rigs and three drillship located in the US, with three semi-submersibles currently cold stacked and two of the drillships warm stacked.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List.
