Nordic American Tankers fixes suezmax to Cepsa

Herbjørn Hansson’s Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has entered into a one-year time charter with Spanish oil company Cepsa for 2004-built suezmax Nordic Castor

The charter is expected to start late February, and may last up to 15 months with options. The rate was not revealed with the company only saying it would secure a good cash flow.

Including the Nordic Castor, NAT will have five of its fleet of 33 ships on time charters with oil majors.
