Nordic Hamburg bags another tanker

Nordic Hamburg continues to add tankers. The German owner has put down $11.5m for Reederei NSB’s 11-year-old, 38,000 dwt tanker, Conti Humboldt in a bank driven sale.

This is the second tanker deal in a short space of time for Nordic Hamburg. At the end of November the outfit grabbed Hamburg-based Mercator Navigation’s last two ships for $13.5m each adding two 73,700 dwt sized 11-year-old long range tankers, King Darwin and King Daniel.

VesselsValue lists the 13-year-old German company with a diverse fleet of 13 ships valued at $160m.
