Nordic Maritime wins survey contract in Indonesia

Singapore: Singapore-based offshore operator, Nordic Maritime, has been awarded a contract to provide 2D seismic survey work in Indonesia for MultiClient Geophysical (MCG).

This survey will be undertaken by the vessel S/V Nordic Bahari, is expected to commence in December 2014 and will take approximately 60 days to complete. The project includes a regional long offset program of over 1753km offshore Lombok and smaller program of over 1014km offshore East Sulawesi.

“We are delighted to announce this new contract from MCG just before the end of the 2014. We look forward to acquiring more of such seismic surveys contracts in the coming year,” said Kjell Gauksheim, executive director of the company. [17/12/14]
