Nova Marine Carriers takes bulk pair from United Seven KG

Lugano-based Nova Marine Carriers is going to add two modern bulk carriers to its fleet. According to some market reports both the ship North Wind and South Wind controlled by the German company United Seven KG are on the verge of being sold en bloc to Italian buyers for $8.8m each.

Some sources revealed to Splash that the buyer in question is the Romeo family at the helm of the Nova Marine Carriers group, which declined to comment on the news. These would be the fifth and sixth purchases sealed by the Swiss shipping company so far in 2018.
