Odfjell Drilling finds work for semi-sub

Norway’s Odfjell Drilling says it has received a letter of intent from an undisclosed party for the employment of semi-submersible Deepsea Bergen on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The one well deal, which includes options, is scheduled to commence in the last quarter of 2017. Work is expected to taker around 40 days.

Deepsea Bergen is currently operating for Statoil on the Norwegian Continental Shelf until mid July 2017. The rig also has one-well contracts booked both before and after this new contract.
