Norway’s Odfjell Drilling has secured more work for CIMC Offshore’s 2019-built rig the Deepsea Yantai.
The Oslo-listed semisub operator has fixed the unit to DNO Norge for about 35 days from early Q3 2024.
The rig will execute one firm well in production license 1182 in the Norwegian North Sea.
Earlier this week, Deepsea Yantai was secured by ConocoPhillips Skandinavia for one well also commencing in the third quarter of 2024, with an option for two further wells.
