Oldendorff takes post-panamax

Oldendorff, one of the busiest buyers and sellers in dry bulk over the past three quarters, has bagged a post-panamax.

The German owner is reported by brokers as paying $10.5m for the seven-year-old, 93,296 dwt Fulvia. The ship has since been renamed Charlotte Oldendorff.

The Chinese-built ship was previously owned by KG fund Dauelsberg.

Oldendorff has spent the first weeks of 2017 making a fast buck by flipping a couple of ships that it bought in the second half of last year.
