Olympic OSV wins accommodation contract from Maersk Oil

Oslo-listed Olympic Shipping’s multipurpose field support vessel Olympic Electra has won a 100-day contract from Maersk Olie og Gas in which it will be employed as an accommodation support vessel.

The contract will commence on Friday and includes an optional extension period, the terms of which were not disclosed.

The ship (pictured) has just concluded a contract in the North Sea with Centrica, which it commenced in October last year.

Latest AIS data shows the vessel is currently underway from Rotterdam to Esbjerg, Denmark, where it is expected to arrive today.
