Muscat: Oman has invited local and international oil and gas companies to participate in a new bid round covering a total of five blocks onshore and offshore.
The deadline for the submission of sealed bids against these blocks is October 31.
According to the US’s Energy Information Administration, Oman has proven oil reserves of 5.5bn barrels and 30 trn cu ft of gas. [05/08/14]
