Onassis tanker conversion underway in Oman

Oman Drydock Company will convert another Onassis ship. The Olympic Trophy is the fourth vessel sent by the Greek firm to change from being an ore/crude carrier to a dedicated crude tanker.

The conversion will take 80 days. No price for the conversion has been revealed.

The ship is part of the Olympic Shipping & Management fleet, which is made up of a mix of bulkers and tankers, with a great focus on the latter in recent years.
