Otto Marine bags $21m charter contracts

Singapore: Leading offshore marine company Otto Marine announced that the company has secured charter contracts for its multi-purpose offshore supply vessel “Go Explorer” for $21m.

Go Explorer will initially be deployed to work in Vietnam followed by Australia working on a major offshore construction project.

“Australia has a very active oil and gas exploration market with many large scale projects ongoing.There are many opportunities for growth, and we are happy to see that we continue to entrench our presence there,” said Garrick Stanley, ceo of Otto Marine.

“Apart from extending our lead in Australia, the group is also looking to expand in other markets. We currently have two vessels deployed in Vietnam waters, and are actively trying to build our presence there,” Stanley said. [20/03/14]
