More owners flock to Hanseatic Unity

Hanseatic Unity, the fast emerging German chartering firm, continues to grow with news Leonhardt & Blumberg and Asiatic / Atlantic Lloyd have joined the joint venture.

Leonhardt & Blumberg brings 55 container carriers to the company, which acts as a charter broker, with locations in Hamburg and Singapore. Asiatic / Atlantic Lloyd is responsible for 27 containerships and two bulkers. Hanseatic Unity’s fleet now comprises 233 ships making it the second biggest German manager of tramp tonnage just behind Peter Döhle.
