Pacific Drilling drillships find more work with Equinor and Eni

Houston-headquartered Pacific Drilling has found more work for a pair of drillships, with one getting an extension from Equinor and another getting a new contract from Eni.

2013-built drillship Pacific Khamsin has secured work from Equinor, who exercised a second option well which will see the drillship contracted through to the third quarter of 2020.

Meanwhile, 2010-built drillship Pacific Bora has been awarded a new contract by Eni for operations ion Oman. The drillship recently completed operations with Eni in Nigeria.

We are pleased to have the Pacific Khamsin committed through the end of the third-quarter 2020.”
