PAO Novoship appoints new president

PAO Novoship, part of Russia’s Sovcomflot Group, has elected Alexey Khaydukov as the company’s new president.

Khaydukov replaces Yury Tsvetkov, who stepped down this week follows his appointment as a deputy minister of Transport of Russia and head of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport.

Khaydukov also serves as managing director of SCF Management Servicesl, a position he will retain in addition to his new responsibilities as president of Novoship.

Khaydukov has served with Novoship for his entire career. After joining the company in 1992 as a deck officer he spent the next 12 years as an officer on Novoship vessels, including five years as a master.
