Pattaya, Cha-am and Hua Hin earmarked for cruise

Bangkok: Pattaya, Cha-am and Hua Hin were highlighted by Boonserm Khunkaew, acting director of the Tourism Ministry's general affairs division, as three important locations to serve as stops for cruise ships plying the Gulf of Thailand.

The comments came as the Tourism and Sports Ministry’s Tourism department announced proposed funding for megaprojects such as theme parks in a bid to achieve the government's goal of 2 trillion baht in tourism and related revenue by 2015.
