Pavimar takes Toisa kamsarmax

Ismini Panagiotidi-led Pavimar is adding a twelth bulk carrier to its fleet according to several brokers.

The Athens-based shipping firm is emerging as the buyer of the 2012-built kamsarmax bulker Trade Will, set to be sold for a price of some $16m with a six-month time charter at $7.5k per day attached.

The vessel is one of the 26 units being sold by Clarksons following the collape of Gregory Callimanopulos led Toisa last year. The vessels up for sale are made up of seven Chinese-built kamsarmax bulkers, five suezmax tankers and eight other tankers of various sizes.

Pavimar was established in 2014 and in the last four years has been of the most aggressive buyers of secondhand panamax and capesize tonnage on the market.
