Kuala Lumpur: The privatisation of Penang Port is expected in the next two or three months.
Business Times has learnt that Seaport Terminal (Johor), which won the bid to take over the port, is in the final stage of negotiations with the Federal Government.
The port, Malaysia’s oldest, has fallen into some disrepair. The privatization process has taken more than 18 months so far. [25/11/13]
