Pertamina plans LPG network

Jakarta: State energy giant Pertamina is planning to build a domestic shipping network of LPG ships and terminals. A series of 10,000 ton LPG carriers will be built in the coming years, executives told local paper, the Jakarta Globe.
On top of that Pertamina will spend $250m to construct a floating liquefied petroleum gas refrigerated terminal near its Tanjung Sekong facility in Merak, Banten. The 80,000 ton facility should be ready by 2014.

Pertamina also plans to build an onshore LPG refrigerated terminal in Situbondo, East Java, and a floating storage LPG facility in Semangka Bay off Lampung province.  [21/09/12]
