Pertamina splits shipping and lube divisions
Jakarta: Indonesia’s energy giant Pertamina has split its shipping and lubricant businesses as part of an ongoing streamlining of the conglomerate.
The aim for Pertamina Lubricants is to become one of the top 20 lube firms in the world in three years according to new business plans.
Pertamina Shipping, meanwhile, will focus on the development of LPG and LNG carriers. At the moment Pertamina owns 37 vessels and operates around 130 vessels. [08/11/12]
