Pertamina to add more domestic gas infrastructure

Jakarta: State run energy giant Pertamina is looking to up its infrastructure to aid gas deliveries to domestic buyers.

New gas infrastructure is being built at Cilamaya, West Java and Bojanegara, Banten.

The Cilamaya floating storage unit is in the final investment decision stage while a feasibility study is underway for Bojanegara.

Cilacap infrastructure would likely include a mini FSRU with a capacity of around 100m standard cubic feet per day (mmsfcd) costing anywhere between $60m and $100m. The aim is to have the FSRU up and running by mid-2017. [21/10/14]
