Petrobras halts production at FPSO off Brazil after oil and water leak

Brazil’s state oil firm Petrobras halted production at its P-35 floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) platform because of a leak of water and oil, according to Reuters.

Petrobras said the leak had been contained with no injuries and it has sent a vessel to assess the size of the spill.

The 974-built P-35 is located in the Marlin field of the Campos Basin off the northern coast of Rio de Janeiro.
