Petronas Gas awards contract for new export terminal scraper station

Petronas Gas has issued a letter of award to Barakah Offshore Petroleum’s subsidiary PBJV Group for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of its new export terminal scraper station in Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia.

The one-year contract is valued at RM12.3m ($2.92m) and commenced on November 6 for expiry on December 6, 2016.

The new scraper station will service Petronas’ propane and butane pipelines at Teluk Kalong, Kemaman. It will replace the existing station and facilities at Tanjung Sulong Export Terminal (TSET), a key LPG facility in the South China Sea.
