Petronas sells minor LNG stake to Petroleum Brunei

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian energy firm Petronas has agreed to sell a minor share of its Canadian shale gas assets to Petroleum Brunei.

Petroleum Brunei has signed on as a new partner in Petronas’s Pacific NorthWest LNG project. As part of the deal, Petroleum Brunei agreed to buy a 3 percent share of Pacific NorthWest LNG’s output for at least 20 years. [10/12/13]
