PetroRio extends BW Offshore FPSO for another year

BW Offshore has reached an agreement with Brazil’s Petrorio to extend the contract for the lease and operation of FPSO Polvo.

The firm period has been extended one year, to the third quarter of 2021, with options until the third quarter of 2022. The contract has been extended multiple times since the original firm contract ended in 2014.

The 2007-built FPSO is located in the Polvo field located in the Campos basin, around 100km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
