Manila: Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. announced yesterday that it had completed the acquisition of Chelsea Shipping Corporation via a share swap agreement.
Chelsea owns seven vessels and is one of the largest petroleum tanker owners in the Philippines. The acquisition will ensure Pheonix has greater control of product supply and sees the purchase as necessary to reduce costs and drive efficiency. [16/10/12]
