Muscat: Plans for a multimodal logistics hub in South Al Batinah Governorate are pushing ahead with a high-level government committee looking at the establishment of the country’s first-ever dry port, which will serve as a halfway point for shipping containers and other freight plying between Muscat, the Omani capital, and Sohar Port.
