Port fees rise in Thailand

Bangkok: The Port Authority of Thailand is raising rates at its principle two ports, Bangkok and Laem Chabang. An extra fuel surcharge has been levied for container services and tugboat usage. The surcharge is about $60 per hour for tugboat usage and $3.68 per feu as an extra charge for container services. 

The Port Authority of Thailand will review the surcharge rates on the 1st of January, April, July and October of every year. [07/10/14]
