Prosafe accomodation vessel chartered by BP

Cyprus-headquartered accomodation vessel owner Prosafe has chartered the Safe Zephyrus to BP for operations at the Clair Ridge platform West of Shetland in the UK sector of the North Sea.

The vessel will provide gangway connected operations supporting the completion of some post first oil scopes during the summer months of 2019. The contract commences mid-May 2019 for a period of five months, with a one-month option.

Jesper Kragh Andresen, CEO of Prosafe, commented: “For the second year in a row Prosafe will be providing BP with a high quality vessel at Clair Ridge. The Safe Zephyrus’ track record of gangway connected operations is second to none since her delivery in 2016, and together with the Prosafe team represents the best the industry can offer.”
