Prosafe awarded five-month contract by BP

Prosafe has been awarded a five-month contract by BP for semi-submersible accommodation vessel Safe Caledonia.

The vessel will be utilised at the Clair Ridge platform, West of Shetland, and operations are scheduled to commence at the end of this month.

The company announced the contract while unveiling its first quarter results, posting an EBITDA of $49.2m.

Prosafe CEO Jesper Kragh Andresen said that he expects the general demand for accommodation services to pick up from 2019.
