UK accommodation platform operator Prosafe has announced that Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has exercised a further four weeks of options for its accommodation platform Safe Boreas.
.Safe Boreas received an extension from Repsol Sinopec Resources UK in February which has expired on March 27, and the latest extension will see the platform continue operations at Montrose A in the UK sector of the North Sea through to April 24. Prosafe says the extension is at a reduced day rate consistent with market conditions.
Repsol Sinopec is entitled to extend the Safe Boreas further through weekly options.
