Cairo: Young unemployed men in Suez closed on Monday the main gate of the Bou Tawfiq Port in a protest against the moribund state of the local economy. They were demanding that the port employ locals not expatriates or Egyptian nationals from far away.
Traffic at the port was reported to be “partially” down for the day. [18/03/13]
