Qingdao Da Tong executes bulker option at Jinling Shipyard

Chinese bulker owner Qingdao Da Tong International Shipping Management has executed an option at Sinotran & CSC affiliated Jinling Shipyard for the construction a 82,000 dwt panamax bulker.

The option adds to an order of four 82,000 dwt bulkers placed by the company in 2015. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled in 2019.

Qingdao Da Tong currently operates a fleet of 10 bulkers including four self-owned vessels, and it also has another three 82,000 dwt bulker under construction at Jinling Shipyard.
