Qingdao Maritime Court to auction Shunda vessel

Qingdao Maritime Court has announced that it will auction Quanzhou Shunda Shipping’s general cargo vessel Shun Chang Hong on September 18 at the request of Dalian Fulong Petrochemical as part of a bunkering contract dispute.

Quanzhou Shunda Shipping signed a bunkering supply contract with Dalian Fulong Petrochemical in October 2014 however wasn’t able to pay the RMB497.6k ($78.1k) bunkering fee according to the contract terms.

The vessel is currently detained at Jiangyin Port in Jiangsu.

Quanzhou Shunda Shipping mainly operates bulk and general cargo vessels in the domestic coastal and Yangtze River market.
