Qingdao Port and G2 Ocean form pulp shipping partnership

Qingdao Port International Logistics, the logistics unit of Qingdao Port Group, has entered into an agreement with G2 Ocean to form a partnership on pulp shipping and logistics.

Under the an agreement, the two companies will work together to expand collaboration in pulp shipping and logistics as Qingdao Port develops into a major pulp distribution hub.

According to G2 Ocean, China is the company’s largest market for pulp shipping, accounting for more than 50% of its total pulp business volume.

G2 Ocean is a joint venture between Gearbulk and Grieg Star, and the company operates a combined fleet of over 130 bulkers.
