Rail links will improve Saudi ports

Doha: The head of the Saudi Ports Authority, Abdul Aziz Al-Tuwaijri, has discussed greater rail links coming to the nation’s ports.

According to local media Al Watan, the executive said yesterday that Saudi ports will become increasingly important after the completion of the expansion of the railway network, which will connect Ras Al-Khair Port with Dammam, passing through Ras Al-Khair, then connect the port of Dammam with Jeddah Islamic Port. All this rail development is scheduled to be completed “soon”, the ports boss said.  [14/04/13]
