RCL announces new Hong Kong – Manila Service

Bangkok: Regional Container Lines (RCL) has announced a new shuttle service between Hong Kong and Manila north port. The service will employ a 1,000teu nominal size with a 14 day turnaround shuttle, with the maiden voyage to commence with the Danu Bhum sailing ex Hong Kong on September 1.

At the same time, RCL has entered into a slot exchange agreement with MCC Transport on the new route.

"This new shuttle will complement our existing offerings from Singapore where we already offer connectivity to Manila, Batangas, Cebu and General Santos via Singapore. Our SOC and COC customers have told us that they will like the additional choice of connectivity via Hong Kong as well," said Charlie Chu, evp business of RCL. [18/08/14]
