Reach Subsea and MMT charter CSV from Topaz

Norway’s Reach Subsea and Sweden’s MMT has entered into an agreement with Topaz Energy and Marine to charter newbuild subsea vessel Topaz Tiamat for two and a half years.

The vessel will be used by Reach and MMT for survey, IMR and light construction purposes within the oil and gas as well as renewables sector.

Reach says the contract, which includes three additional one-year options, is structured in a way that enables the two companies to offer a competitive subsea services. No commercial details of the contract were revealed.

The Topaz Tiamat is the first vessel chartered from Topaz, but based on their professionalism and proactive approach, we believe this will be the start of a successful and productive cooperation going forward.”

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
