Dubai: Khalifa Port has reduced the turnaround time for ships calling at the container terminal by about 35%, and trucks loading and unloading by about 64%, top management has said.
Martin van de Linde, ceo of Abu Dhabi Terminals, said the smoothing of supply chains was helping cap inflation in the emirate through reduced costs for imports as well as helping boost Abu Dhabi exports. [02/06/13]
