Rem Offshore sells CSV, delays OCV at Vard

Norway’s Rem Offshore has agreed to sell construction support vessel Rem Forza to an unnamed international customer.

Rem said that delivery of the vessel to the new owner will take place shortly, with the sale giving it a booked profit, netting around NOK 200m ($22.8m) cash after the repayment of debt.

In a separate announcement, Rem said that it had delayed delivery of a Vard 2 06 offshore construction vessel ordered with Vard Group for around $133m in June 2014. The vessel was original scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2016, but the delay will see delivery postponed until the first quarter of 2018.
