Restis pockets tidy profit from sale of suezmax to Vitol

Restis family company Golden Energy Management has sold 2018-built suezmax tanker Energy Trophy to energy and commodity trader Vitol for $62.5m, according to several weekly broker reports.

Golden Energy paid $56m for the vessel, built at Hyundai Samho and delivered in April 2018, and is said to have sold the vessel with a charter attached.

The sale price is in line with the $62.65m valuation given by VesselsValue, although substantial higher than the MSI valuation of $59m.
