Rizhao Port dismisses 89 officials

Rizhao Port, a major iron ore port in northern China, has dismissed 89 employees in middle management according to a file released by the company’s human resources department.

The port said the move is to optimize the personnel structure of the company as part of its organization reform plan, which is expected to be completed in 2017.

Splash reported yesterday that Du Chuanzhi, former president of Rizhao Port, along with a number of current senior officials  have been taken away by discipline inspection authorities as part of corruption investigations.
