Dalian: Rizhao Port announced that it plans to invest RMB380m to further develop its Shijiu port area in order to facilitate the update of the port.
The project will create a new port area through land reclamation and develop a railway connection to the port.
Rizhao Port said the new area will meet the increasing demand for bulk stockpiling and the railway connection will enhance the port’s ability to serve the hinterland.
CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co has won the bid for the port dredging project. [07/02/14]
