New subsea firm Rovco awarded contract by UK Marine Trust

Rovco, a new subsea company officially launched yesterday with the announcement of its first contract.

The UK-based company has secured a contract from UK Marine Trust to provide ROV services for offshore oil and gas platforms.

ROVCO has a fleet of ten ROVs and is focused on underwater integrity, ROVs, surveying and subsea services for both oil and gas, and renewables.

“Rovco has launched at a time when a number of companies are feeling the strain of the sustained low oil price, however the company’s business model is built around exactly what the industry needs to overcome these challenges,” said Neil Gordon, chief executive of Subsea UK.
