Offshore driller Rowan Companies has been awarded a six-month contract by Cantium for 2010-built jackup rig Rowan EXL III.
.The rig is currently under contract to Cantium in the US Gulf of Mexico until late August, while the new contract is expected to commence early November.
Last month, Rowan’s joint venture with Saudi Aramco ARO Drilling was awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco for six jackup rigs on three-year deals.
