Houston-based seismic data specialist SAExploration Holdings has been awarded a new marine project in South Asia by a major national oil company.
SAExploration will utilise ocean-bottom nodal recording technology for the contract, which is worth around $100m and expected to commence before the end of the year and concluding in the second quarter of 2019.
A large contractor will be used for the project, which will account for 70% of the revenue.
