Shanghai: Sainty Marine announced that it has signed shipbuilding contracts with Dutch owner Universal Marine for the construction of four 2,350teu containerships. The price for each vessel is $42m.
Sainty Marine will start construction of the vessels in 2015 and deliveries will start from 2016.
In the past month, Sainty Marine has also received orders for ten 64,000dwt bulkers and six 12,000dwt multi-purpose vessels. [31/03/14]
