Samsung Heavy dealt another blow as Shell cans triple FLNG order

Samsung Heavy Industries has suffered another huge blow to its dwindling orderbook with Royal Dutch Shell cancelling plans for three FLNGs worth a combined $4.6bn.

Woodside Petroleum this March ditched the Browse LNG project in Australia with partners, including Shell and BP.

Samsung Heavy still has two FLNGs on its books for Shell and Petronas.
