Samsung Heavy wins $963m FPSO contract

South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries is celebrating winning a huge FPSO contract worth $963m. The yard revealed in a release it had won the order from an unspecified Asian company with the FPSO set to deliver in March 2022.

Samsung Heavy has now won orders worth $2.3bn this year, including seven LNG carrier contracts.
